Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and Rainbow Lorikeets at the Royal Botanical Gardens of Sydney
Not just Rainbow Lorikeets, but Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and Domestic Pigeons as well.❤😊
I need to ask the poster of this video a question: I adopted a rainbow lorikeet and I live in California, United States. I see they are eating sunflower seeds but I was told they can’t eat seeds. Is it true? Can they eat seeds? Please tell me because my other bird eats seeds and I try to keep my lorikeet away from the seeds.
They shouldn’t eat seeds as they are nectar eaters.
Rainbow lorikeets are nectar eaters so they can't digest seeds properly and seeds damage their brush-like tongues. So to protect them please moderately feed them fresh fruits such as diced apples, grapes or pears.
This is probably my best alarm clock
🎉🎉🎉
❤My veranda all day every day 😅
Don't worry about North Korea or Russia just release the Rainbows lol!
Is that a Bin Chicken Ibis
If it were legal to shoot my neighbor's Cockatoo I would have already!
Một đàn vẹt đẹp tuyệt vời quá, cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ.
0:03 🤣
here in Western Australia we got the massive black cockatoos and they go nuts
mam w domu
Why are they tagged for
Christ, this isn't bad at all. I've got three neighbors on three sides and all with two dogs each and nobody home with them......apparently......possibly EVER !!!
Живые цветочки! Прекрасные! Чудесные!
Is no one gonna talk about that turn in the beginning
They always look like a smart cute creature until they open their mouth
Please do not feed them seeds, it is really bad for them as it is not their natural diet. The rainbow lorikeet's delicate tongue is used only for drinking nectar from flowers and not eating these hard seeds.
I agree
Sunflower seeds aren't hard, idiot its very soft the birds break the outer casing with their beak and eat the soft seed inside.
We have bucket loads of wild birds 🐦🐦🐦🐦all varieties we put out raisin bread soaked in lori mix okayed by our veterinarian. Plus fresh wattle seed and fruit totally love 💓💓💓💓 it.
It's so beautyfull🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Cutest
Tadinhos estão com fome, mas a comidinha deles tem que ser líquida ou pastosa, os Lóris não tem moelas como os outros pássaros

They all very funny! I have at my home one 26 years old, Hi is acting same way plus speak 2 langv.!
Getting a cockatoo is the same as having a baby...
if spinel had a temper
They’re like having a three year old who lives for fifty years. No thanks.
Esses pombos de merda aparecem em toda parte do planeta.kkk. abelhudos, estas aí de penetras na reunião da Kacatuas.🤣🤣🤣🤣
So fucking annoying
But Dr Romesh was foolishly feeding them bread in his video. Ask any bird vet, bread is really bad for lorikeets and will make them very sick. Please tell Dr Romesh to stop killing our native birds by giving them an inappropriate diet.
The Lorikeets at Dr Romesh's Bird Sanctuary at the Holistic University of Brisbane's Moorooka Campus in Brisbane don't squabble like this. It's because of how we feed them.
@@rosemariechilds2033 It's a well kept secret. :)
You should not be feeding them either!
maybe i shouldnt buy this...
they all screech like that
Fred...I love it stunning toos
Lesser sulfur? Thinking of getting 1 i live in an apartment my mum hates noise
Greater sulphur crest. We dont have lessers in Australia
@@eiciuwnuibwbwicbwc Nope. Not here at all. Not a single one.
My bird does that when he is outside on the fence lol .. the cockatoo scream is soooo annoying lol
It's the absolute best noise this earth has every created! Nice name btw YEEEEEEE :D
Aw I think it thought it was an egg ?..
What the hell happened to his tail and wings? Who clipped your bird, did a toddler do this? How horrible, poor cocky. I'm glad I researched how to do this shit properly before hacking at my own birds, but I suppose I care enough to do it correctly.
Some people dont trust vets. Do the feathers grow back? (Sorry. I'm stupid)
I had an experienced breeder teach me how to clip. But the internet is vast and wide full of free knowledge that covers this. Birds go through a big moult once a year. if the damage isnt severe they will all grow back within 2 years, most within a year.
At least two of the SCC had Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease :(
What a terrible wing trim
The neighbors must love that.
0:28 was the neighbors throwing a brick at the house
@@Taconiel 😅
My neighbors got one a year ago and we used to get along, but now they're not even allowed to come on my property and we don't speak at all anymore!
I wish I had these birds in my garden. They're two of my favourite birds.
I had a sulfer crest cockatoo. She was amazing she talked she knew her name. She knew words. She loved me and I loved her so much. But my mom got rid of her because she was distructive 😭😭 it broke my heart.
Sorry to hear Lps Flame. May be one day when you are a bit older you can get another one. Cockatoos, beside being very demanding and attention seekers, can live up to 60/80 years so they are a life time commitment thought.
Thanks •3• I hope I can get another cockatoo when I'm older, I really love cockatoos. Plus she was a great companion
Lps Flame Why don't you ask your mother if you can get a hand raised cockatiel in the meantime? They are much smaller, not destructive, less demanding and still cute and friendly. It must be very young and hand raised thought otherwise they do not come on top of your hand or shoulder. When they are young they can learn many songs and tricks. Check this video for example ua-cam.com/video/4I3YILhIJao/v-deo.html
That sounds like a GREAT idea! Thank you so much for that idea. I will defiantly look into that. Do you know where I can find good guilty babies, and how much it would cost
Lps Flame Are you in Australia? If so you can check Gumtree and search for "hand raised cockatiel" This is the link www.gumtree.com.au/s-birds/hand+raised+cockatiel/k0c18456 You can also narrow the search to the state or city where you live. The cost vary from 40 to over 100 dollars. I particularly like the white cockatiels with the red cheeks. They are called Lutino Cockatiels. Males are usually smarter and more prone to sing if I am not wrong.
Adorable birds :3
They were so frustrated with the sound that they dropped the camera lol.
oh that isn't so bad! they scream louder in their flocks of a thousand hehehe
A typical morning in Canberra, Australia is eight to ten of these going at once.
i played this youtube video and the 10 birds politely eating the seed on my balcony left immediately, and have not returned. That bird must not be happy at all..( mawson canberra au )
HAAHHA FKN EPIC!
try 20
Awww, number 52 was like, ooo ball! More balls! MORE BALLS!!! @.@ *Sees another cockatoo* NO! My balls! Go away! *bite* then runs away when bored. Soooo cute!
Good lord. My LS2 isn't nearly as loud as that
